What is the PUMA x HYROX Collection?
Our collaborative collection with HYROX is designed first and foremost with HYROX athletes in mind. HYROX is a world-renowned Fitness Racing event, which combines running with different fitness-focused workstations, such as sled pulling, burpee broad jumps, and rowing. Participants run for 1 km before then finishing a workstation task, run for another 1 km, finish another workstation, and so on. This is done a total of eight times - 8 km of running with 8 different workstation tasks.
This collection offers a range of footwear and workout apparel that’s the perfect fit for passionate HYROX athletes, new and experienced. Even if you don’t take part in HYROX events or training, the range still offers plenty of fantastic options for those who just like to get out there and exercise.

What Should I Wear for a HYROX Competition?
If you’re looking to compete at a HYROX Fitness Racing event, you’ll want to focus on gear that’s breathable, has an adaptive fit, and running shoes with plenty of solid grip and malleability.
HYROX comprises eight 1 km runs broken up by a fitness workstation after every kilometre that’s completed. Good running shoes are essential for the total 8 km you’ll run. The workstations involve the following exercises:
1. SkiErg - an intense, full-body workout.
2. Sled Push - targets the lower body muscles and requires shoes with good grip.
3. Sled Pull - engages glutes, back muscles, and biceps.
4. Burpee Broad Jumps - another full-body workout; you’ll want breathable and adaptable clothing.
5. Rowing - a rowing machine where you need to complete 1,000 metres.
6. Farmers Carry - walking while holding heavy weights; engages upper back muscles, your core, and grip strength.
7. Sandbag Lunges - lunges, but with weighted sandbags of 10, 20 or 30 kg affixed to your back.
8. Wall Balls - a series of weighted balls that you need to throw into a secured target position on a wall.
With these different exercises and workouts in mind, remember to focus on malleable running shoes with good grip and breathable apparel that’s designed to regulate your temperature and wick away moisture.
